A debate on Bosnia and Herzegovina is being held in the Bundestag today, more precisely on the topic “30th anniversary of the beginning of the war in BiH”.
Michael Roth, SPD MP, said at the beginning of the debate that the future of Europe in the coming days, weeks and months will not be decided in Stockholm, Berlin, Paris, but in Mariupol, Buca…

“If Russia wins this terrible war, then additional, new military conflicts are threatening, in Georgia, Moldova, and it will spread all the way to the Western Balkans, where we are currently witnessing aspirations towards secessionism in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is actively, completely immorally and completely he is cold-blooded and brutally supportive of Putin,” Roth said.

He emphasizes that peace and security in the whole of Europe, “even us in Germany, is only possible if Ukraine remains a free and sovereign state.”

The announcement of the session states that the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina began in April 1992 with the siege of the capital Sarajevo, and ended in November 1995 with the signing of the Dayton Agreement, Avaz reports.

“More than two million people have been expelled from their homes, and close to 100,000 have lost their lives,” it is stated in the announcement.
