“If you do not withdraw the Decision on the minimum Wage, you will face a Bosnian Spring and 30.000 People on the Streets“

A representative of small business owners from Banovici, Damir Hasanovic, addressed the public after a meeting with the Chair of the Committee for Economic and Financial Policy of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) regarding the minimum wage.

The goal is to collect 20 signatures necessary to schedule a thematic session on fiscal reforms, and if that does not happen, a request will be made for a constitutional review of the FBiH Government’s decision.

“The matter is not yet finalized; the levies have not yet started to be collected or imposed on business owners.”

One of his messages to the federal government is to withdraw the decision on the minimum wage of 1.000 BAM, or else they will face a “Bosnian spring.”

“Let us unite and not allow spin and an incompetent and greedy government to create hostility between employers and workers. We are not criminals; we are the ones who sustain this country. We are honest people who earn our bread honorably. I want to send a message to Nermin Niksic: if you do not withdraw the decision and find a democratic solution to the newly arisen situation, you will have a Bosnian spring. You will have 30.000 people on the streets, with tools, machines, cranes, and all the equipment with which we earn our bread honestly,” he stated, Klix.ba writes.
