In the first quarter Export increased, Import of Goods Reduced

importsIn the first quarter of this year, B&H exported goods worth 2.117 billion BAM, which is 2.7 percent more than the same period last year, while imports amounted to 3.56 billion BAM, which is 1.9 % less than in the same quarter of 2014.

In this period, export/import ratio was 59.5 %, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 1.443 billion BAM, which are the data of the Agency for Statistics of B&H.

Exports to CEFTA countries in the first three months of this year amounted to 332 million BAM, which is 9.3 % more than in the same period of 2014, while imports amounted to 421 million BAM, which is 14.4 % more compared to the first quarter of 2014.

Export/import ratio was 78.9 %.

Exports to EU countries in the first quarter amounted to 1.516 billion BAM, which is 0.8 % less than the same period last year, while imports amounted to 2.12 billion BAM, which is 1.8 % less than in the same period last year.

Export/import ratio was 71.5 %.
