Indictment against the Federal Minister of Development and Entrepreneurship confirmed

Today, the Special Department of the Supreme Court confirmed the indictment of the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office against Vojin Mijatović and others.

As a reminder, on September 3, POSKOK filed an indictment against the Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts (SDP) Vojin Mijatović due to the disputed allocation of budget funds.

The indictment is the result of an investigation in connection with the controversial announcement of public invitations and the allocation of budget money in the amount of 1.2 million BAM.

The investigation related to grants awarded through a public call that was announced by the Federal Ministry in March 2025.

The public competition that the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts announced in March last year was called “Start-up Ecosystem Development”, and the decision, despite the above-mentioned deadline, according to both the winners and those who complained, was made “in half a day”.

After a series of objections to the regularity of the procedure, the owners of the Sarajevo IT company Bloomteq filed a criminal complaint against the relevant minister, Vojin Mijatović.

In his reaction after the indictment, Mijatović stated that he refrained from commenting in order not to influence the investigative procedure.

“The forces of darkness in this country interpreted the ten months of silence – during which I deemed it proper to let investigative bodies do their jobs without political pressure – as a signal to run me over. The course of the investigation and the way everything was handled hinted at where things were heading, yet even then, I remained silent,” stated Mijatović.

He directly linked the initiation of these legal proceedings to the start of the election campaign for the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I was singled out as a political target to damage the SDP BiH the day before the campaign began; now everything is crystal clear, and the masks have come off,” he asserted.

He also addressed a direct message to the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and its president, Bakir Izetbegović.

“A special greeting to the Izetbegović court and their pets: the ‘prime minister’s head for a prime minister’s head’ scheme failed, and believe me, the deputy prime minister’s head won’t roll either. We will battle this out until Judgment Day,” Mijatović concluded, N1 writes.
