The Municipal Court in Žepče has confirmed an indictment against the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs, Ramo Isak, whom the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) Prosecutor’s Office charges with the criminal offense of endangering safety. A hearing for the entry of a plea has been scheduled for November 17.

Isak is charged with the criminal offense of endangering safety under Article 183, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH); the indictment was filed by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

According to information from the Municipal Court in Žepče, the indictment was registered at the court on October 19 and assigned to a judge for preliminary proceedings on October 23. The judge immediately began reviewing the case and confirmed the indictment on the same day it was received.
The hearing at which Isak will enter a plea is scheduled for November 17 at 9:30 a.m.
Following the filing of the indictment, Isak claimed that the charges were fabricated, stating that he had been reported by an individual whom he had previously reported for making threats.
