Inter-ethnic Summer Camp at the Scout Center of Boračko Lake

jezero02Inter-ethnic summer camp opened today at the scout center of  Boračko Lake.

Inter-ethnic camp closes on 5thAugust, and is supported by the USA Embassy in BiH.

Currently, at the camp are residing 250 young scouts from BiH and Serbia, said for Fena, Edin Šarić, President of the Scout Association of Zenica municipality, which is the carrier of the activity.

This year we applied for a project Creating a Better World in which we have included the Scouts of Zenica and Scouts Squad Mladen Stojanović from Prijedor, then Scouts from Brčko, Mostar, Bijeljina, Prnjavor and guests from Subotica and Bajne Bašte from Serbia, said Šarić.

After the opening ceremony of the camp, which was attended by representatives of the USA Embassy, representatives of the Federation of BiH and RS and Zenica-Doboj Canton, was organized also the scout lunch.

At the Inter-ethnic Camp, among other activities, will be organized various workshops and tours at the monastery Žitomislić, Počitelj, Medjugorje and  Mostar.
