Israel ends military operation at Nasser Hospital in Gaza Strip

The Israeli army announced on Sunday that it had completed a military operation at Nasser Hospital in the town of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

They claim that Israeli forces seized unused sealed medicines bearing the names of the Israeli hostages during a raid on the hospital.

According to the statement, during the operation, around 200 “terrorists” and suspects were arrested and weapons were confiscated.

There was no comment from Hamas on the Israeli statement.

The Israeli army stormed the medical facility on February 15thafter a weeks-long siege, forcing thousands of displaced Palestinians to flee the hospital under heavy Israeli bombardment.

Gaza’s health ministry said eight patients died in the hospital last week from lack of oxygen amid an Israeli attack on the medical complex.

29,692 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the genocide-accused Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip on October 7th.

On January 26th, following a genocide lawsuit filed by the Republic of South Africa, the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel must refrain from any actions related to the killing, attacks and destruction of the residents of the Gaza Strip and take all measures to prevent genocide.
