Why is Israel hiding its Role during the War in BiH?

bijeljina-696x456The Supreme Court of Israel rejected the appeal submitted by a group of citizens who invited the national structures to publish information about the export of weapons to the former Yugoslavia during the war in BiH.

According to Israeli media, the reason behind the decision is that the disclosure of this information would distort the image of Israel in the world, as well as the country’s foreign policy. Moreover, it was concluded that the publishing of information might lead to charges directed against the state of Israel.

Media in Israel report that in this way the Supreme Court refused to disclose the role of their country in the genocide in BiH, since Israel exported weapons to the territory under control of the Serb military forces during the war in BiH.

The appeal was submitted by attorneys Itay Mack and professor Yair Oron. They also presented evidence that Israel sold rifles and ammunition to Serb military forces.

Mack and Oron presented excerpts from the personal diary of the general of the Army of Republika Srpska Ratko Mladić, who emphasized the close ties between his military forces and Israel.

“The Israeli people suggested that we fight against Islamic extremists together. They offered to train our men in Greece and deliver sniper weapons for free,” Mladić wrote in his diary.
