banja vrućicaAt a meeting on the management of solid waste in Banja Vrućica near Teslić, the utilization of solid waste through recycling and processing was discussed.

Representatives of the Italian Company AGSM and AMIA from Verona presented their experiences in solid waste management. They expressed interest in starting a regional project that would include the recycling of waste and its use for energy production.

Milan Miličević, Mayor of municipality Teslić, said that proper waste management can be very profitable, and that it could create new jobs.

“Following the global trends and environmental awareness, municipality Teslić must fit into the concept of proper management. If there is an agreement, a facility for a separate plant for waste should be built, said Miličević.
