Kakanj donates Money to an ill Boy instead of organizing the New Year’s Eve Celebration

helpThe Mayor of the Municipality of Kakanj Nermin Mandra and his associates decided to donate all money intended for the organization of the public celebration of New Year, including fireworks, to the ill boy Evelin Alajbegović.

Understanding the fact that money is urgently needed for the surgery of the 7-year-old Evelin, and respecting the attitudes of citizens shared on the Facebook profile of the Kakanj Municipality, Mayor Nermin Mandra decided to donate the money intended for the organization of public celebration of the New Year 2017 for the treatment of Evelin Alajbegović. Within the New Year celebration, only program intended for children will be organized.

After this news was published, citizens wrote numerous comments on the Facebook profile of the Kakanj Municipality in which they approved this act.

“The fireworks which will not be organized in Kakanj during New Year’s Eve will be the most magnificent and the most beautiful in the world. It is the fireworks of wishes and support for the little Evelin,” wrote Radmila Mijatović Mišković.

The Municipality of Kakanj thanks all people who decided to join this humanitarian action which is to be continued.
