Young BH striker Kenan Kodro (22) is hero of Osasuna, which managed to place in Primera after the victory against Girona (1: 0) in the final play-offs of the second Spanish league.
Kodro scored the only goal of the match in the 48th minute and Osasuna went to the next level with the overall 3: 1 in the two matches. During the celebration of the goal, part of the stand where were staying Osasuna fans collapsed. BH footballer also scored a goal in the first match of the final play-offs in Segunda, where Osasuna won against Girona with the score 2: 1.
The son of a former player of Barcelona and the coach of BiH Meho Kodro, helped Osasuna with his games to return to the Primera after 2 years of absence.
In the first match of the semi-final of play-offs the young striker scored a goal in the victory over Gimnastica (3: 1), and one goal in the two final matches of play-offs against Girona. The only match he did not score is the second match of semi-finals against Gimnastica when Osasuna won with the score 3: 2.
This is a big comeback of Osasuna who dropped from Primera at the end of the 2013/14 season, while it was struggling for survival in the Segunda in the season 2014/15. There were 18th out of 22 teams in the standings, and the last four teams were eliminated. So, Osasuna was the first above the elimination zone. However, Osasuna managed to reach the top of the Segunda this season and to reach the Primera at the end.
From a total of 9 goals that Osasuna achieved in four matches of play-offs, Kodro scored three goals.
