Do you know which City is the most expensive in the EU?

londonLondon is the most expensive city for life in Europe, and it is followed by Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki, according to the recent European statistics office, Eurostat.

The cost of living in European capitals were compared with Brussels and Luxembourg, which received 100 points.

Research has shown that life is the most expensive in London, which received 166.9 points. The high cost of living are the result of expensive housing and public transport. Average square meter of living space in London will cost you around 10,500 EUR, according to EurActiv.

In second place is Copenhagen with 131.8 points, followed by Stockholm with 127.9 and Helsinki with 119.7 points.

Dublin is in the 5th place with a total of 116.6 points and it is slightly more expensive than Paris, which many consider to be one of the most expensive cities in the world, which occupies the 6th place in the EU with 114.6 points.

The 7th most expensive city to live in Europe is Amsterdam with 107.8 points, and on the 8th place is Vienna with 105.9 points.

In the 9th place are Brussels and Luxembourg with 100 points, and the 10th most expensive city for life in Europe is Rome with 99.4 points.

The cheapest city for life in Europe is Sofia with 52.1 points.

It is followed by Bucharest with 64.8 points and Budapest and Vilnius with 69 points.

Zagreb received 74.6 points and it is slightly more expensive than Prague (73.4 points) and less expensive than Ljubljana (81.2 points).
