The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, spoke today in Sarajevo with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation led by the head of the IMF Mission for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alina Ianca.

During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of structural reforms necessary to speed up BiH’s European path.

Chairperson Kristo expressed her gratitude to the IMF for supporting our country in the reform process. She said that Bosnia and Herzegovina has achieved incredible progress in the past year thanks to the dedicated work of the BiH Council of Ministers, and that the results of the work have been recognized by the EU, which puts us in a position to rightfully expect in the coming days the green light for opening negotiations on full membership.

Chairwoman Krišto thanked for the continuous support and emphasized the importance of the cooperation of BiH institutions with this international financial institution in the implementation of reforms, and especially the importance of the technical support of the IMF for our country in maintaining fiscal stability, the Information Service of the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
