’Let’s Do It’ Team in Action

let´s do it logo“Let’s Do It-Million Seedlings in A Day’ is the name of a large volunteer tree-planting campaign in B&H.

This action is primarily dedicated to the reforestation of forest area, as well as planting trees in parks and tree-lined courtyards. The ‘Let’s Do It Team’ plans to implement synchronized action in one day and to start at the same time throughout B&H on Thursday, 24 October at 10:00.

The action organized by the citizens ‘Ruke’ from Sarajevo in cooperation with the Association of Citizens ‘Mozaik Prijateljstva’ from Banja Luka, in partnership with the government sector, private and public companies, schools/faculties and other nonprofit organizations.

The aims of the action are to plant 1.000.000 tree seedlings and to ensure the participation of at least 20.000 volunteers to raise awareness and to educate the public on the protection of the environment and the importance of forest ecosystems.
