Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo on June 18, 1914 and in history it is considered the motive for the beginning of the First World War.

However, it is still being written about his death in Sarajevo and there are still many mysteries surrounding his demise. Of course, another one appeared in the media, this time related to the license plates on the car in which Franz Ferdinand was with his wife on the day when Gavrilo Princip executed the assassination.

Namely, the British Telegraph reports that license plates of the car reveal the exact date of the end of the First World War. The First World War officially ended on November 11, 1918, and today this day is celebrated as the Day of Armistice.

License plates on the car of the Austrian archduke were A III 118.

A is the first letter of the alphabet, roman number 1 is I. Then there is already the existing III and the number 118. Therefore, the number can be written as I III 118 – or 11.11.18., which is the exact date of the termination of the First World War.

It is all a weird game of numbers.
