A regional media forum was held in Doboj today in the framework of the international project “Atrium”, where the implementation of the project and process of creating the cultural route of architecture in the 20th century in BiH were presented.
The catalogue of BiH cultural route was presented, which should present to the local and European public the architectural solutions of the most interesting buildings in BiH that date from the period of totalitarian regimes of the 20th century.
Among the buildings presented in the catalogue is the Museum of the 14th Winter Olympic Games in Stari Grad municipality, the mausoleum in the city park in Doboj with the building of the Center for Culture, the Heritage Museum in Travnik, the City Gallery in Novi Grad, the Bosnian National Theater in Zenica, and the hotel “Kardijal” in Banja Vrućica near Teslić and the House of Center for Culture in Konjic.
The Manager of the Project “Atrium” Miodrag Bosić said that 18 partners from 11 countries in South East Europe (Italy, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Greece, Croatia, Serbia, Albania, and BiH) are participating.
20 cities and municipalities in BiH are included in the project, among which are Doboj, Prijedor, Teslić, Višegrad, Zvornik, Kotor-Varoš, Kozarska Dubica, Goražde, Novi Grad, and Brčko.
“All of these cities and municipalities from BiH participating in this project put a focus on its research of the architectural legacy from various totalitarian regimes from the 20th century from a cultural and historical aspect’’, said Bosić.
