sidewalk-presidencIn the premises of the Presidency of BiH, a meeting a delegation of the SDA and HDZ parties was held.

Dragan Covic, spoke to reporters after the meeting saying that the they discussed a number of issues.

“We hope that the European perspective will be open in the shortest possible tim. You’ve seen comments from Brussels, each of these people in a correct way assesses the situation in BiH. Therefore, we are convinced that this year we need to activate the candidate status. With representatives of Serbia and Croatia we need to open many important questions as well as to reate a relationship of equality of all three nations.” said Covic.

On the occasion of the arrival of the PM Aleksandar Vucic in Sarajevo, Covic said:

“Speaking about PM Vucic, I think he will visit Sarajevo two times over the next month. I expect to try to continue to build relationships in the spirit of the statement given by PM Vucic these days. We have to impose BiH as a place of solutions to the problem.” adds Covic.

Moreover, he added that SDA and HDZ parties must agree on a range of issues, and the current relations between the two parties as “satisfactory”.

“I am afraid that opposition parties will use this time to encourage new crisis, because so far we have shown that we have a convincing parliamentary majority. We, together with the SDA party, gave our vision of the BiH Election Law. Speaking about that Law, we have a very clear position. The current relationship the two parties is decent, but far from what it should be like in BiH “.
