Head coach Mehmed Bazdarevic attended the draw in Nyon. He says that there were no easy opponents in the additional qualifications.
“Everyone is commenting here that we got the most difficult opponent. However, I think that all rivals are difficult in their own way. There are no easy ones. The Irish are unpleasant, but we have our advantages,” said Mesa.
He added that he believes in his players.
“We have the capacity to eliminate the Irish. The only negative thing is that the rematch is in guests. I wish it was the other way around. The most important thing is that players are healthy in the play-off matches. I believe in these guys and I believe that we will qualify on Euro,” concluded Bazdarevic.
