The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSBiH) have so far proven their commitment to providing assistance to the civilian structures of government and the entire population of our country, whenever necessary.

Not sparing their own lives, members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina always help in the most difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, some of them also experienced great personal losses in this current natural disaster, but they continued to serve their homeland with honor and dedication, announced the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Eight days ago, it was the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina who were the first to go to the threatened areas with the necessary machinery and logistical support, and since then, without pause, they have been engaged in several locations to remove the consequences of the disaster.

The engineering units of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina with their heavy machinery and personnel are still active in the wider area of the municipalities of Jablanica, Kreševo, Fojnica and Konjic, where they work on clearing terrain and buildings, as well as removing waste material.

If a new need arises, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are ready to use additional resources on the ground, including helicopter capacities, announced the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
