Lagumdzija - Kharchenko 1-02042013The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the BiH Minister of Foreing Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija received in Sarajevo the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Aleksandar Bocan-Harčenko. They spoke about the bilateral relations between BiH and the Russian Federation, announced the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They assessed that bilateral relations of BiH and the Russian Federation are positive, and expressed interest to intensify economic cooperation, especially in the area of investment and trade.

They noted the importance of exchange visits at a high level, and in this context they spoke about the planned visit of Lagumdžija to the Russian Federation in mid 2013, as well as to the business forum that will be held in Moscow at that time.

Lagumdžija said how he expects a quick resolution of issues of mutual financial claims between BiH and the Russian Federation, as BiH is the only country in the former Yugoslavia that has not solved this issue.

They exchanged opinions on foreign policy priorities of the two countries, and of the current crisis in the world, with a particular emphasis on the Middle East.
