Tragedy this morning at “Lukavac grad” elementary school. A minor injured a school employee with a gunshot this morning.
The weapon was found, and the juvenile was arrested.
The students were taken out of the facility, and the prosecutor’s arrival is awaited on the field.
There is no official information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office yet. The mayor of Lukavac, Edin Delić, asked the public not to disturb the investigation with unverified information and to reduce panic considering that the children are safe.

“There are no injured children – there is a shooting at the school in Lukavac. There is a shooting at the school in the town of Lukavac. There are injured. There are no children among them, so I am asking parents to be calm.
The perpetrator is a minor child and was immediately arrested.”
BHRT learns that the minor student who shot at the teaching staff of the Lukavac elementary school had previously threatened to kill the children, but nothing was done.
According to the information they have, these threats were reported to the Ministry of Interior of the Una Sana Canton, but they allegedly said “everything is under control”.
It is about a student who was allegedly transferred from this school to another school, and he came this morning to take revenge because he was transferred.
