johnatan mooreThe past eight years have been marked by political stagnation as well as by stagnation of B&H in all fields, although,  2014. was a crucial year regarding some movements – stated for Fena agency Jonathan Moore, head of OSCE mission to B&H.

He reminded of the protests held in February which reflected dissatisfaction and frustrations of the citizens and the floods in May.

“After the damages caused by the floods and landslides, the citizens of B&H forgotten about the municipality and entity borders and helped each other, no matter their ethnic origins or place of living.” – said Moore.

Finally, said Moore, the elections in October demonstrated the voters choice, some parties became stronger, some of them weaker. The authorities and the political leaders should now, said Moore, end the process of forming authority and make steps in order to improve the situation in the country and make room for progress.

He also remembered his first months in B&H when he talked to a lot of dissatisfied and frustrated people here.

“The citizens of B&H expect for their leaders to make some serious steps in the field of economy and to start opening working places.” – stated Moore and added that he is impatient to start cooperating with the authorities who, he hopes, will fulfil the promises they made during the pre-election campaigns.
