How much Money BiH returns to Foreign Creditors Every Day?

MONEYIn the first nine months of this year, BiH returned a total of 477.5 million BAM to foreign creditors or 1.7 million BAM a day, according to business portal capital.ba.

“Matured obligations under the external debt of BiH are regularly serviced, and on that basis, in the first nine month of this year, was paid 477.56 million BAM. Of this amount, on the repayment of the principal refers 392.9 million BAM, or 82.27 %, and on the interest payments, service and other costs including bank charges goes 84.66 million BAM or 17.73 %,” as said in the Report on execution of the budget of the institutions of BiH and international obligations for the first nine months of this year.

In total serviced obligations, the FBiH participated with 303.72 million BAM, the RS with 167.76 million BAM, Brcko District with 1.84 million BAM, and institutions of BiH with 4.24 million BAM.

Most of the money has been returned to the International Monetary Fund and it amounts to 123.86 million BAM and 71.7 million BAM to the World Bank.

The total external debt amounted to 8.3 billion BAM at the end of September.
