How much was the Profil of Central Bank of BiH in 2016?

central bankProfit of the Central Bank of BiH in 2016 amounted to 14,062,357.63 BAM, announced the Governing Council of the bank.

Namely, the Council has adopted the decision on the allocation of net profit which the CBBH has achieved in 2016, and 60 % of these funds will be soon allocated in the budget of BiH institutions directly.

Practically speaking, at the expense of obligations to the budget the BiH institutions, the CBBH will pay 8,437,414.58 BAM, while the rest of the money will be allocated to the general reserves of the bank.

In 2016, CBBH achieved a positive financial result, however It is expected that the negative trends in international financial markets could be seen in the coming years.

“CBBH acted in order to ensure continuity of monetary stability, achieving the basic objective of stability of the local currency,” announced the Department of Public Information of the CBBH.
