Municipal Court found guilty Three Former Directors for Institution for Mentally Disabled Children

The Municipal Court in Sarajevo found Jasmin Ćerimagić, Senada Muharemović and Redžep Salić, the former directors of the Pazarić Institution for the Care of Mentally Disabled Children and Youth, guilty. Due to the criminal offense of negligent work in the service, they were sentenced to four years and six months in prison by the first-instance verdict.

They are charged that from 2009 to 2019, while they were holding directorial positions in the Institute, by neglecting their duties of supervision and constant monitoring of the physical and mental state of the residents by the professional and medical staff, they clearly acted negligently in the performance of their duties, as a result of which a serious injury occurred the rights of residents of the Institute, including children and minors.
