NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will visit Sarajevo on March 10.

Rutte will arrive in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina accompanied by his associates, Danny Raymakers, Romain Moulron and Željka Perković, Avaz reports.

This visit comes at a time when relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina are tense, and the reason for this is the verdict handed down to Milorad Dodik, which has provoked threats from Republika Srpska.

In this context, Mark Rutte’s visit can be interpreted as a clear message from NATO about continued support for peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The citizens of BiH have the support of the Alliance, which their officials often emphasize.
