delegation at opening of highwayLast night, with fireworks and ribbon cutting a modern highway, Corridor Vc was opened. The part of the highway which was opened is one from Medjugorje to the border crossing Bijača, reports Anadolu Agency.

This is a key infrastructural prerequisite for the full realization of the economy, especially the tourism potential of southern Herzegovina.

The additional 10 kilometers which were opened yesterday night will have the tremendous importance because the Vc will be connected over the Croatia with the European road network which will have multiple significance for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The highway from Medjugorje to Bijača will merge with highway Dalmatina , which practically means that Medjugorje is now the only city in Bosnia and Herzegovina which is linked to the international motorway network.

In the link below, in a video that we have provided, you can take a look at solemnly ceremony as well as spectacular fireworks.
