More than 1000 workers work in the industrial zone of Vogošća, and the opening of new jobs is expected to happen soon.

Apart from four pre-war companies, in the industrial zone that spans 140 hectares, 51 new companies have been opened.

Head of Vogošća Municipality Edin Smajić said that a lot of hard work was invested in order to start the production in the new industrial zone.

‘The new industrial zone is a mini lot of 13 hectares, in which in the last 10 years, more than 6 million BAM has been invested and in the last two years we’ve annulled land permits to those who did not build any objects and issued a public call and brought new investors’ , said Smajić.

Apart from Bellisima who started its production, Granoff and Mitex have also built their objects.

‘The owner of Granoff has promised that the seat of the company will be transferred to Vogošća and that a great number of jobs will be created, which will be great. Soon there will be new bakery program, and then the huge factory for fruit processing and juice packaging will also be constructed, and in the next two-three years, new jobs will be created’, added Smajić.
