The Forum of Citizens of Zenica completed activities on the arrangement of Kulin Ban Park, which is located on the eastern side of Bilino Polje Stadium, and its official opening will take place on the anniversary of creation of the Charter of Kulin Ban and the Day of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
On behalf of the Forum of Citizens, Mirsad Mujkic stated that they are very satisfied with the work and that they are hoping that it will benefit to the citizens of Zenica.
“The works were completed on Saturday with a joint action of citizens who refreshed the monument “Razvoj” and arranged final look of the park. We are happy to revitalize this part of the city, which has great importance to BiH,” noted Mujkic.
He also added that the anniversary of the Charter of Kulina Ban will be marked on Wednesday, at 12:30 p.m. in Kulin Ban Park, and cultural and entertainment program will take place within the marking ceremony.
“It is not enough to just say that we are proud. Our contribution is not so big, we just asked the City Administration and business entities to help us. We all need to be more active, and people with ‘power’ should use it to contribute the community. This park that was unusable for spending leisure time and resting a few days ago is revitalized now and it will be suitable for the nightlife soon as well,” stated Mujkic.
