Nine banks from BiH among the 100 largest in the South East Europe

Nine banks from BiH are among the 100 largest in the South East Europe region. It is a list made by the SeeNews regional business magazine in English, and banks are ranked by their total assets.

BiH has one bank more this year in comparison to its previous ranking (last year there was 8 banks included). Moreover, almost all of the banks from BiH, which are on the list, have improved their position.

The best-ranked bank from BiH is UniCredit Bank Ltd. Mostar, which occupies the 35th place, with an amount of 2,410 billion EUR. This bank was at the 36th place last year.

Raiffeisen Bank Ltd. Sarajevo is at the 39th place this year, with an amount of 2.006 billion EUR, which represents an improvement for five positions.

Nova Banka a.d. Banja Luka occupies the 64th position with the amount of 1.033 billion EUR. This is an improvement of ten positions in comparison to its last year’s ranking.

Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Ltd. is in the 72nd place with 911.4 million EUR (progress for 4 places).

UniCredit Bank a.d. Banja Luka is in the 80th position with 715.8 million EUR (progress for 5 positions).

NLB Bank a.d. Banja Luka is at the 85th place with assets of 635.8 million EUR (progress for one position).

Sparkasse Bank Ltd. Sarajevo is at the 87th place with assets of 606.2 million EUR (progress for two positions).

Sberbank BH Ltd. is at the 93rd place, with 594 million EUR.

NLB Bank Ltd. Sarajevo is also in the list at the 99th position with 498.6 million BAM.
