The embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in Washington is following the events relating to the earthquake, which happened on September 19th in Mexico.

The embassy employees are in constant contact with the embassy of Mexico in Washngton and the honorary consul of BiH in Mexico City Nadin Karachi and, as of now, there are no indications that there are dead BiH citizens.

Rescues are still ongoing so it’s too early to talk about the final body count, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH SAID.

The embassy continues to follow the development of the situation in the Mexican states struck by the earthquake and is ready to assist BiH citizens affected by the earthquake.

You can contact the embassy of BiH in Washington on the number 202-337-1500, extension 224, 227, 228 and 235 or by mail on consularaffairs@bhembassy.org.
