wood industryThe number of employed persons in April 2017 in BiH amounts to 29,767 and is higher than in April 2016, is the data of the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Most of the employees in BiH are, as statistics show, in the processing industry and in wholesale and retail trade, providing significant increase in employment to these sectors. The number of employees in the manufacturing industry was 8,932 and the increase in wholesale and retail trade was 4,334.

To recall, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic and Prime Minister of the FBiH Fadil Novalic talked about the current political situation in our country.

Both Zvizdic and Novalic stated that they are satisfied with the effects and progress that the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the FBiH made in this term. Zvizdic said that the last year was the most successful one when it comes to the European integration of BiH.

As he stated, he is satisfied with the economic situation in BiH due to the fact that all the parameters are showing improvement of the economic situation in our country, as well as regional relations.

Prime Minister of the FBiH Fadil Novalic said that statistics is showing a high degree of implementation of measures from the Reform Agenda and growth of gross domestic product (GDP) as well as the number of employees. He also commented on the dualism when it comes to information from statistical institutions and the Federal Tax Administration, and noted that it is not important and that the only important thing is that the number of employees is growing.

Zvizdic said that citizens can clearly see that the authorities are implementing reforms at all levels, which should bring benefits to all citizens of BiH. He also noted that citizens understand that the European path is important for BiH and that the effects can be seen when the number of employees increases to 60, 70 or even 80 thousand of new employees. Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH also praised about the new companies that were opened in our country.
