The opening of “Zimzograd” event in Banja Luka was postponed for December 14th because of the unfavorable weather conditions.

On the event, more than 300,000 lighters would be lit, which will mark the beginning of the winter magic.

“With the concert, dance groups, degustation and numerous surprises, we will also prepare the magnificent birthday of Santa Claus and we look forward to the magic that comes to Banja Luka. See you all at the opening,” the organizers said.

This year, the event will take place on 15,000 square meters and will offer Fun Park, Ice Park, Praha fairy tale and numerous contents for the whole family. Location compared to previous years has changed and the event will take place in Mladen Stojanovic Park.

A detailed one-month entertainment program will be known in the upcoming days.

Residents of Banja Luka will enter the New Year with songs of Zeljko Samardzic and Nikola Rokvic and the fun of New Year’s Holidays will not last for only one night.

The night before the New Year, the atmosphere will be warmed up by Haris Dzinovic, and the first day in 2019, Zeljko Joksimovic.

“Program for the New Year in Banja Luka will be the best program in the region, and we can say that Banja Luka will be a regional center for three nights, promising excellent performers,” Banja Luka mayor Igor Radojicic said, adding that team worked hard to arrange the famous musicians to sing in Banja Luka.

It is already difficult to find a hotel accommodation for New Year’s Holidays in Banja Luka and according to booking.com, some hotels are already fully booked while others have very few free rooms.

New Year’s celebration is promoted under the motto “Banja Luka calls you”.
