Over 70 Millionaires and multi-millionaires live in Visoko

The latest data indicate an increasing number of extremely successful entrepreneurs in Visoko.

According to unofficial estimates, over 70 people whose total assets can be measured in millions of BAM, live in Visoko today, writes Visoko.co.ba.

This figure has grown significantly compared to previous years, when there were about 50 millionaires.

The reason for this is the growing number of companies with an annual turnover of more than one million BAM.

According to the records of the Department for Finance, Economy, Business Zones and Economic Development within the City Administration of Visoko, the number of companies operating in the city area in 2023 is 710.

Also, in the area of the city of Visoko in 2023, there were 2,227 self-employed entrepreneurs (natural persons) who were engaged in independent economic activity.

According to estimates, there are currently more than 70 different companies in Visoko that can be classified as “millionaire business entities”.

However, wealth is also created in other fields, such as real estate and savings.

Therefore, it is a realistic estimate that over 70 people live in Visoko today, whose total assets can be measured in millions.

Analysts suggest that this increase is partly the result of successful entrepreneurial ventures, real estate investments and, in some cases, inheritance.

However, there are also concerns that this concentration of wealth could lead to an increase in real estate prices and the cost of living, further deepening economic disparities.

While some see the presence of millionaires as an opportunity to develop the city and attract tourists, others fear that it could lead to social isolation and the creation of “elite” zones inaccessible to most residents.

These data, although unofficial, provide an insight into the economic picture and potential opportunities for development in Visoko.
