The election day in Sarajevo Canton was held in a safe environment, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced.
The CS Ministry of Internal Affairs added that the police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs responded to calls for intervention.
“They concerned situations that the callers evaluated as behaviors that are not in accordance with the rules valid on election day, with the fact that no breach of security was recorded that would endanger the election process itself,” the statement added.
As a reminder, polling stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina are closed at 19:00, and the first results are expected soon.
