Politicians to Create an Agenda that Would Get BiH out of the Standstill

presidencyThe Vice President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Bakir Izetbegović said that the leaders of political parties in BiH have taken a commitment to create an agenda that would get BiH out of the standstill that has lasted for several years and which will jumpstart BiH’s progress towards the EU.

He said that after the meeting with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini and European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.

Even though he left the meeting with the political parties’ leaders early, Izetbegović added that most of the leaders said they were ready to accept the principles, but also pointed out that they previously signed agreements that were not implemented.

“Milorad Dodik and Zlatko Lagumdžija said they had previously signed similar agreements, but that implementation never came. Dodik also put forward an interesting thesis, which made us laugh, and that was that SDA has been the factor that blocks the processes in BiH,” said Izetbegović.
