Polling Place To Open in B&H on Croatian Referendum on Same-Sex Marriages

referendumOn 1 December, seven polling places will open in B&H, where Croatian citizens who live in B&H can vote on whether they are for or against to have it defined in the Croatian Constitution that marriage is a life-long union between a man and a woman.

On Sunday, Croatian citizens can vote in Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka and Tuzla.

In order to participate in the referendum, all Croatian citizens without a residence in Croatia had to register by filling in the appropriate forms in the diplomatic-consular missions.

The deadline was on 20 November in B&H, and 5.289 Croatian citizens registered.

Those who did not register, will be able to use their voting rights under the condition that they ask for the appropriate certificate on the day of the implementation of the referendum.
