12255184_1737196023183741_1445610761_oThis year the spring might be on time, given the forecasts of average temperatures. As the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute confirmed, a warmer spring than usual is ahead of us.

“According to the available forecasting materials, we can expect warmer weather than usual in the period from March 1 until May 31. Thus the average temperatures will range around 9.6 degrees in Sarajevo, 13.6 degrees in Mostar, 10.6 degrees in Bihać and 10.3 degrees in Tuzla,” the Institute stated.

Although a warmer spring is expected, that does not mean that there will be no occasional colder periods. These colder periods are expected in the second half of March and in the beginning of May.

Longer periods without rainfall are also possible, mostly in early April and mid-May.

Although a warmer weather is ahead of us, the Institute highlights that the possibility of frost and snow in mountain areas is not excluded. However, these forecasts cannot be further précised.
