Group race “Wings for Life World Run” will be held for the second year in a row in BiH, and for the first time in four BH cities, on Sunday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m. Last year, it was organized only in Sarajevo but one of the most prominent events in the world will be also held in Mostar, Zenica and Tuzla this year. More than 400 registered participants will start the most beautiful story of “Wings for Life World Run” with mobile applications. Runners will be able to run in a group with a mobile application.
“Wings for Life World Run” is a specific type of race. Participants start running at the same time at several locations all around the world. Some of them start at midnight, others at noon, but half an hour after the race starts, a vehicle (interceptor) is started in all locations in the world. The interceptors then come after runners and eliminate them from the race. The winner is the one who is the last to run in front of the interceptors.
Around 120 participants have been registered for the race in the city of Neretva, mainly younger people. Moreover, about 100 participants are registered for the race in the city of Zenica. Of course, there is a lot of interest in the Wings for Life World Run race in Tuzla, and there are about 100 registered participants in that city for now. When it comes to Sarajevo, more than 100 people confirmed their participation. Vedad Ibisevic, former BH football representative invited everyone to submit their application for this race and run with the application.
” This is a global story and I believe that it is a big thing for group racing to be organized through application. I would like to invite all people to apply and become part of such a great story,” stated Ibisevic.
