The Red Cross of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) sent last regards to the tragically deceased young doctor Alma Suljic (26) where she volunteered. They said that she will be remembered for her sincere smile and kindness.

“The structure of the Red Cross of the FBiH sends its last regards to our Alma, doctor, humanist, leader, and long-time volunteer of the Red Cross. We express our sincere condolences to the family. Dear Alma, you will forever remain in our hearts. We will remember you for your sincere smile and kindness because that’s how you were,” stated the Red Cross of FBiH.

Alma Suljic was hit by Armin Berberovic with a car on May 26th at Marijin Dvor in Sarajevo. For the past few weeks, she was in critical condition and under the close supervision of doctors at Sarajevo University Clinical Center.

On the fateful night, Berberovic hit three people with his vehicle at the pedestrian crossing, at the intersection of Dolina and Marsala Tito streets. Azra Spahic died at the scene of the accident.
