In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 105,629 accounts of business entities have been blocked so far this year, 69 fewer than at the beginning of December last year, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
As of January 3, 57,820 companies had at least one account blocked, which is 21 more companies than at the beginning of November 2024.
This monthly report on blocked accounts in the Bank’s Transaction Accounts Register, which contains 4,268 pages, three fewer than in the previous month, lists legal entities from various fields – municipalities, cooperatives, sports and health organizations, businesses, agencies, associations, and entities engaged in service activities.
As of the end of November last year, 105,698 accounts of business entities had been blocked, while 57,799 companies had at least one account blocked.
In the first report of the Central Bank published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
