Remains of One Person found on Mount Ozren

On Mount Ozren, where an exhumation is being carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, incomplete remains of one person were found, which will be sent for further forensic processing and identification through DNA analysis.

The exhumation is being carried out at the Hajdarevići-Davulije site, Zavidovići municipality, and the process is being coordinated by the investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, it was announced from that institution.

It is an extremely inaccessible locality, which was previously demined.

The activities were realized in the joint cooperation of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Agency for Investigation and Protection, and representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH also participate in the exhumation process.

The process of searching for the remains continues at the location of Stog, also in the municipality of Zavidovići, according to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
