exhibitionExhibition of the art works created at the first and  the second international art colony in Pocitelj “My escape to the freedom“, dedicated to the first president of B&H, Alija Izetbegovic, was opened last night in the Sarajevo City Hall.

Director of the PI Museum “Alija Izetbegovic“, Adnan Zisko, said that a total of 41 works of artists from B&H, Montenegro, Turkey, Northern Cyprus and Italy, from which the most was done in acrylic techniques, oil on canvas or in combined techniques, were exhibited.

He emphasized that it is interesting that artists from abroad who participated in colonies, came with the bigger prior knowledge about Alija Izetbegovic than about B&H, and added that the third international art colony “My escape to the freedom“ will start on 25th September in Pocitelj.

The exhibition was organized by the PI Museum “Alija Izetbegovic“ in the cooperation with the Association of visual artists of B&H, and will be opened until 2nd October.
