Sarajevo Film Festival announced the Lineup of its Kinoscope Section

The Sarajevo Film Festival is announcing the lineup of its Kinoscope section. This year, the section consists of 16 films.

‘’Films from this edition question reality in different ways. For the first year, we will slate them in three distinctive programs. Kinoscope Real questions everyday reality as it shapes our identities. What defines oneself? If from a very early age the main element of identity is gender it is notable that its rigid characterization is questioned. Contemporary borders and those from the past must also be interrogated.  Kinoscope invites stories that entertain, reflect, shock, and engage the audience. From contemporary society to stories from the past, films reflect on exacerbated individualism and its opposite – love. Kinoscope Surreal addresses our fantasies revealing fears that sometimes exist more intensely in our imagination’’ – Mathilde Henrot and Alessandro Raja, Kinoscope Programmers.
