Sarajevo gets the Center for Emergency Assistance to Animals

On August 25th, the Emergency Center for emergency assistance to animals will be opened in Sarajevo, which will operate as part of the Cantonal Public Company Veterinarska stanica Canton Sarajevo.

The opening of the center is planned for Friday, August 25, starting at 2 p.m. at Nikole Šopa Street 41 in Stup.

The opening of the Emergency Center will be attended by the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Nihad Uk, the Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton Zlatko Mijatović, the administration of KJP Veterinarska stanica d.o.o. Sarajevo and other officials.

The emergency center is located in completely renovated premises within the Sarajevo Veterinary Station, and is equipped with the most modern equipment, which enables the establishment of emergency veterinary assistance for injured animals in the Sarajevo Canton area.

This project put Sarajevo on the map of large European cities when it comes to caring for injured animals.
