Significant Decrease in Number of Coronavirus Cases in BiH

In the past 24 hours, 53 people tested positive for coronavirus were registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, out of 765 processed tests. One death was reported in the Federation of BiH, according to data from the entity public health institutions and the Government of the Brcko District of BiH.

So far, a total of 15,748 people have died in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a result of the Covid-19 infection.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 628 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 44 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in Una-Sana, Zenica-Doboj, Central Bosnia, Herzegovina-Neretva, West Herzegovina, Tuzla and Sarajevo Canton.

So far, a total of 1,246,701 samples have been tested in the FBiH, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 250,203 people. In the past 24 hours, one death was reported in the Federation of BiH in the Tuzla Canton. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 8,861.

In the past 24 hours at the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, the University Hospital in Foca and the hospitals of St. Vracevi in ​​Bijeljina and Sv. Apostle Luke in Doboj tested 86 laboratory samples, and a new coronavirus was confirmed in seven people. No deaths were reported.

So far, 111,907 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 6,353 deaths have been recorded. A total of 420,964 people were tested.

Two new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, 51 tests were performed, and 31 cases are currently active. So far, 535 people have died from the consequences of the coronavirus in the Brcko District of BiH.
