Significant Increase of Issued Driving Licenses in BiH

According to collected statistical data in the year of 2017, a total of 1.336.464 driving licenses were active, as announced from BH auto-moto club (BiHAMK).

The largest number of active driving licenses was recorded in the FBiH, that is, 824.386 or 61.68 % of total number of active driving licenses in BiH, 478.694 or 35.82 % were recorded in the RS, while 33.384 or 2.50 % of driving licenses are active in District Brcko.

Data on the number of active driving licenses per entities in BiH for the year of 2017 show that there is significant increase of 25.626, or 3.2 % of active driving licenses in the FBiH, an increase of 880, or 2.7 % in District Brcko, while the increase of number of active driving licenses in the RS in relation to other entities was smaller and it amounted to 9.891 or 2.1 % in 2017, in comparison to the year of 2016.

The number of active driving licenses in Canton Sarajevo in comparison to previous year is by 4 % larger, by 3.38 % in Tuzla Canton, and by 3.23 % in Zenica-Doboj Canton.

The report shows that the number of issued driving license during the year of 2017 was increased compared to 2016 by 9.683 driving licenses or 4.98 %.

Total number of driving licenses issued to male drivers in the year of 2017 amounted to 130.820 or 64.1 %, while the total number of driving licenses issued to female drivers amounted 73.344 or 35.9 %.
