Mostar Airport announced on Friday that all SkyAlps flights from Mostar, as well as those to Mostar, will take place regularly and without any interruptions, in accordance with the established schedule for the summer season of 2025.
“Due to incorrect and unfounded information that reappeared in certain media, which was already officially denied more than two months ago, the Mostar Airport Authority considers it its duty to clearly and unequivocally point out again that there is no reason for concern. All planned flights will take place according to the planned schedule, and the safety and reliability of air traffic remain our highest priority,” it was announced from the Mostar airport.
As they say, the Mostar Airport Administration is not clear why such misinformation is being released to the public again, especially when it comes to topics that have already been clarified and officially closed.
“We believe that the sole purpose of such media appearances is to damage the reputation of Mostar Airport and the airline SkyAlps, and consequently to create unnecessary uncertainty among passengers,” the statement adds.
They also state that passenger safety and operational efficiency are key criteria when choosing an airline that will have a base in Mostar.
“This is precisely why Mostar Airport cooperates with companies that operate according to the highest international standards. SkyAlps airline has proven its commitment to providing safe and quality service, which is confirmed by their timely response to administrative issues, which have in the meantime been resolved in cooperation with the competent regulatory authorities,” the statement says.
At the same time, SkyAlps also sent an official statement on this issue, emphasizing that all flights operate safely without any interruptions.
“During a recent routine inspection by the aviation authorities, certain problems with documentation were identified – not within SkyAlps itself, but with one of our external maintenance partners. As a precaution, several aircraft have been temporarily grounded in full cooperation with the relevant authorities,” SkyAlps said.
They added that the safety of their flights has never been compromised.
“With the support of our trusted airline partners, all scheduled flights continue to operate as scheduled. We are actively working to resolve this issue and expect our entire fleet to be available again soon, well in advance of the busy summer season,” the company stressed.
