Companies in metal industry have been the main exporters from BiH for several years not and quality of their products is evidenced by contracts with renowned regional and world brands. One of the examples of successful business is certainly the company ATT from Gornji Vakuf – Uskoplje. This company produces axles for Gorenje from Slovenia and they cooperate with companies such as Volkswagen and Mahle, for whom they make bushings. Story about the success of this company is best told from the beginning, from a small basement room with two employees.
Production started 30 years ago with a smaller number of workers and in much humbler conditions. The present Director of the company Adnan Telalović said that the business was developed as a craft until 2001, when the company Telalović was established. They opted for serial production when the market was very unstable and uncertain.
Cooperation with the company MANN+HUMMEL BA was very helpful during the breakthrough on the market. Their cooperation continues to this day.
“In cooperation with that company, Telalović Ltd. acquired great experience and knowledge. That is the main reason why we started exporting in 2010. We changed the company name to ATT, with metal machining as primary activity. Now we have 100 employees and production increases constantly,” Telalović said.
Quality and well-thought investments enabled the company ATT to make contracts with some of the regional and European brands. In addition, the company actively invests in infrastructure, production, capacities and equipment.
“This year we completed construction of a new production plant covering 4.200 square meters and launched construction of another facility, covering 2.200 square meters,” said Telalović.
Main products of the company are currently axles of different types and purposes and bushings for car industry. Gorenje from Slovenia buys the axles and the company also exports to Germany, Croatia and Italy.
Telalović said that the most important things for success on the market are clearly defined aims and strategy.
