Teams for Pumping Water to Arrive Today in Orašje

VODOSTAJI RIJEKA U BOSNI DOSTIGLI HISTORIJSKI MAKSIMUMTeams from Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, which will work on pumping water will arrive today in the area of Orašje, while two teams from Poland with high capacity pumps will arrive today in Bosanski Šamac.

Considering the fact that many villages and cities have no drinking water and at the Operative- communication center 112 keep coming requests from the citizens, B&H Ministry of Security will coordinate the arrival of teams for pumping and cleaning water, announced this Ministry.

Operative- communication center 112 will continue during the day to coordinate actions of flood protection and to assist residents of most vulnerable areas.

Helicopters from Croatia and EUFOR will continue today to be engaged in fixing the damaged embankment in the area of Orašje, while other available aircraft of B&H Armed Forces and Slovenia will operate on tools, food, water and medicine deliver in the flooded areas.

Teams for pumping and cleaning water from Germany, Switzerland are expected to arrive, while Austria has offered help as well.
